1 Samuel 29:5 “Is this not David, of whom they sang to one another in dances, saying: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands’?”

These were the words of the Philistines. They knew who David was. He had a reputation throughout the world and they knew he was a follower of the God of Israel. They feared him because they knew he was blessed.

This made me think about what other Christians and non-Christians think of me. Do they know I serve the Living God? Do they see by my actions and words that I am blessed? Do I really let God work in me to glorify Him? What really do they see in me?

This is for me to ponder on… and maybe you should too: If someone asked around about us, what would others say?
